Wall Art A Big Interiors Trend

It seems we're looking for more extravagant ways to make our homes our own as wall art has been identified as one of the top trends of 2017. Find out more...

Whether you’re planning to redecorate your home in the new year, or simply want to find an easy way of adding something special to a space, wall art is the way to go.

At least that’s according to Pinterest, which identified this as one of the top interiors trends of the year. The website revealed that saves for the term ‘big wall art’ were up by 637 per cent this year, so it seems we’re all looking for ever more extravagant ways to make our homes our own.

“Larger posters, works of art and photography prints are blowing up!” the social media site revealed.

If you’re looking for a way to embrace this trend but still stay true to your unique style, consider commissioning some bespoke word art. This is the perfect way to bring some personality to a room and you can have control of what appears within the frame.

You can get really creative with these pieces too. You might decide that you want to have words relating to the room itself, and what happens in there - like in the kitchen, you could opt for food, cooking and other culinary-related terms.

Alternatively, you might want some word art that’s personal to you or another member of your household, or even a piece that commemorates a specific event. Your imagination really is the only limit here.

Even though you’re a bit late to get an order in for Christmas, that doesn’t mean you can’t get personalised word art as a birthday gift for someone you care about. Personalisation was cited as the best way to go with gifts in the festive season, but we think this holds true at any time of the year and for any occasion.
