In-Laws Revealed As The Worst Gift Givers Ever!
If you’re a mother or a father-in-law, you might want to concentrate a bit more on your shopping lists this Christmas if you want to keep the family on side in 2018 and beyond.
That’s because new research by Vistaprint UK and OnePoll has just revealed that in-laws are actually considered to be the worst at giving presents so start thinking now if you want to avoid lots of frowning faces around the Christmas tree this year.
Head of Vistaprint UK Oliver Harcourt commented on the results and was quoted by the Independent as saying: “The survey found Brits had received gifts which included a broken toilet brush, an already opened pack of peanuts and an out of date cereal bar! But despite receiving some less than desirable presents, overwhelmingly people felt it was the thought that counted.”
The best people at buying presents were found to be partners, while 20 per cent of those asked said children choose good gifts as well. Personalised presents were revealed as being among the favourite choices for Brits, as well as clothing, music and anything with sentimental value.
